Children discover the bible

This year’s children’s bible days in the parish of lonnerstadt were held under the motto: "seek and find – treasures of the reformation".
The life of martin luther played a major role in it. Over 30 children in three groups set out to find. The children had found many treasures. A cross for christ, a rope to keep us in the faith, a precious gift as a sign of grace, a bible, a hymnal, a godfather and a chalice as a sign of holy communion.
Everything was collected in a treasure chest. The children hoard that martin luther was a bible explorer who encouraged people to read the bible for themselves after he had translated it into german.
The song: I am a bible explorer was a hit. The children were able to get creative with games and handicrafts. The homemade reformation breads tasted especially good to everyone. On the last day, each group was able to plant a martin luther rose at the memorial in front of the church. The bible days ended with a family service.
